Allied Pest Control - One Call Does It All
My Blog

The Carpenter Ant Season is here in full force

Now is the time to call if your are seeing any Ants roaming around your home.  With the warm weather and now the wet weather we are busy every day treating homes for Ants.  They will not go away by themselves as everybody wishes they would.  Professional treatment on the interior and exterior by Allied Pest Control will solve the issue.

Western MA Homes sales

The Real Estate Market in Western Ma and the Berkshires is starting to get busy.  Maybe the Banks are starting to lend money like they should.  The nice weather should bring more people out to search for their dream home while the prices are still low.  We have 2 experienced Termite Inspectors that can help you check out any type of purchase.

Spring Hits Western MA

The warm weather from last week has the Bees getting active and the Carpenter Ants waking up   The insects will slow down for a while as it gets cooler again.  They did not leave your house.  In Western MA we find the termites are also starting to swarm.  The termites start moving up towards the grade of your home.  Pest Control in Western Ma becomes very active with the onset of spring.

Early Spring

We are in for some nice weather later this week.  The temp should reach about 60 degrees this thursday and should wake up some insects earlier than usual.  If the weather pattern stays warm we will have a very active Carpenter Ant season.

Snow We do not miss it

The snow we are getting on this first day of March will not last long.  March 20th is the first day of Spring.  Love this mild winter

Mild Winter So Far

The winter is upon us now.  We have been fortunate with the temps so far this winter.  The Mouse Activity is greater than usual because of the mild weather.  We are staying busy treating for mouse problems.  It sure beats shoveling snow.

Winter is almost here

The cold weather is fast approaching and winter starts on December 22nd.  The mice have enjoyed this mild weather so far and are looking for entry points in your home so they can spend the winter in a warm place.  Now is the time to stop further entry and get rid of the current population living in your house.  You never have only 1 mouse.  Call us now to schedule an appointment.

Storm Damage

The damage to all out trees from this storm is going to have a impact on the Carpenter Ant and Rodent population for the winter and the upcoming spring of 2012.  We are going to see a new influx of activity because of the tree damage.

Spring Perimeter Treatments

Write your post here.  We will have a lot of insect activity this coming year because of the heavy snowfall we have received.  Exterior home pest control treatment should be done as soon as the snow melts.  We have many areas of our home that are soaked on the exterior.  These wet/damp areas are prime for insect infestation.
